Which self-adhesive face stock should I choose for labels?
Chromo for general printed labels needing a bright gloss finish. Woodfree where the label must be written on. PVC or vinyl where the label faces water, weather, curved surfaces or a long service life — vinyl conforms better to curves. Kraft where a natural brown, eco-leaning look is wanted. The face stock choice follows the environment the label lives in.
What is chromo paper in label printing?
Chromo is a gloss-coated, one-side-coated face stock used as the standard general-purpose label material. The coating gives sharp print and strong colour, which is why it dominates printed product labels, price labels and promotional stickers. It is not waterproof — for wet or outdoor use, PVC or vinyl is the correct substitute.
Do you supply adhesive paper in rolls or sheets?
Self-adhesive face stock is supplied to the requirement of the job, in rolls for reel-fed label presses or in sheets for sheet-fed printing.
