Copier Paper Wholesale Dealer in Delhi — 70-100 GSM Bulk Supply

Copier paper is cut-size office stock, held here in 70-100 gsm and supplied by the box and the pallet rather than the single ream. Sigma Enterprises distributes it wholesale from Ramesh Nagar, New Delhi to offices, institutions, stationers and resellers across Delhi NCR and India, drawing on JK Paper, PaperOne, Century and Trident lines. 75 gsm A4 is the volume grade in India and covers ordinary laser, inkjet and photocopy work; 70 gsm is used where cost per sheet governs, and 90-100 gsm for letterheads, certificates, tender documents and duplex printing where show-through would otherwise be visible. Copier paper differs from offset printing paper in how it is engineered rather than in what it is made from — moisture content and surface are set for dry toner and fuser heat, not for wet ink, which is why it runs flat through a laser and performs poorly on a press. A4 and legal are the standard cut sizes at 500 sheets to the ream. State brand, grammage, size and monthly offtake for a trade quote.

Common questions

Copier Paper — what buyers ask

How many sheets are in a ream of copier paper?

500 sheets. That is the standard for cut-size office paper in A4 and legal, and it is the unit almost every price, consumption and procurement figure is built on. Reams are packed five to a box, so a box holds 2,500 sheets. Buyers ordering in volume work in boxes and pallets rather than in single reams.

How many reams are in a box of A4 paper?

Five, which makes a box 2,500 sheets. The box is the standard trade unit for office paper: bulk pricing, storage planning and monthly consumption are all quoted against it rather than against the ream. Pallet quantities vary with box size and grammage. State your monthly offtake in boxes when enquiring and the quote can be set against that.

What is the difference between 70 gsm and 75 gsm paper?

Five grams per square metre, which sounds trivial and is not. 75 gsm is the volume grade in India: more opaque, more reliable through a feeder, and less show-through on duplex printing. 70 gsm is chosen where cost per sheet governs and the printing is single-sided and short-lived. On high-volume machines the heavier sheet also jams less often.

Which copier paper is suitable for laser printers?

Any cut-size copier paper is engineered for laser and photocopy use — moisture content and surface are set for dry toner and fuser heat, which is exactly what separates it from offset printing paper. For general laser work 75 gsm is the usual choice, with 90-100 gsm for letterheads and certificates. Do not run coated art paper through a laser unless the grade is specified for it.

What is the difference between copier paper and printing paper?

How they are engineered, not what they are made from. Both are uncoated woodfree. Copier paper is cut to size and conditioned for dry toner and fuser heat, so it runs flat through a laser. Offset printing paper is made for wet ink and press tension, holding dimensional stability through multi-colour runs. Each misbehaves in the other's machine — copier paper stretches on press, offset paper curls in a fuser.
